MACHINE OPERATOR
The position is generally responsible for efficiently operating the CNC machine and Engraving machine.
All activities must be geared towards maintaining the highest level of service to both internal and external stakeholders and must conform to Internal Auditing standards and guidelines and to all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Runs the computerized cutting and engraving machines to slice and carve materials, such as metal parts, plastic, stone and wood.
Sets up the machine lens and adjusts the instrument between each project to meet specifications while adhering to proper safety procedures.
Enters all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath for a CNC.
Measures and verifies all calculations prior to setting up the machinery.
Monitors engraving machines and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure desired output.
Selects materials to be engraved and installs engraving cutters and other tools.
Selects appropriate speeds, feeds, depths of cuts and cutting angles.
Supervises the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce better results as needed.
Inspects products to ensure they meet the desired criteria.
Performs calibration of laser in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Performs calibration of the axes in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Responsible for minor repairs and routine maintenance of the machines, as well as taking inventory of the machine-related products.
Prepares and submits production reports.
Maintains a clean and organized working environment.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures in the operations of the machines.
Assists in other job-related duties from time to time as may be directed by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) O’ Levels, two of which must include English Language and Mathematics
At least three (3) years working experience in a manufacturing environment
At least two (2) years working experience with machines
Relevant technical certification will be an asset

Funeral Attendant
General Accountability
The position is responsible for driving coaches, vans and motor vehicles to transport human remains, customers or goods while maintaining due care and attention to ensure the safe delivery of persons or goods. The Funeral Attendant would also be responsible for assisting with all activities related to removals and funerals.
All activities must be geared towards maintaining the highest level of service to both internal and external stakeholders and must conform to Internal Auditing standards and guidelines and to all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Principal Accountabilities
Ensures that all vehicles are in good working condition by checking oil, water, diesel etc. and reporting all defects found on a daily basis.
Removes human remains from homes, or any other designated place as instructed.
Assists in placing and taking out bodies from refrigerator for funerals or embalming and assist in loading of coaches.
Assist in funeral assignments including operating the lowering devices.
Cleans and secures the vehicles and all related funeral equipment prior to and on return from funerals or other jobs as assigned.
Accompanies clients to the registrars, cemeteries, hospitals etc. in preparation for the care of their loved ones.
Ensure that the garage area is kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
Supports the development and maintenance of a team environment by performing other related duties.
