Celebrating the Life of Cleavon Lloyd
Cleavon Lloyd was a man of quiet strength, deep intelligence, and genuine compassion—someone whose presence left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. At the age of 45, Cleavon’s life was marked not only by committed professional dedication, but by the integrity, warmth, and purpose with which he lived each day.
Throughout his working life, Cleavon was known as a thoughtful and perceptive professional, respected for his sound judgement and trusted counsel. Many turned to him not simply for answers, but for clarity, reassurance, and wisdom. He possessed a rare balance of ambition and humility, combining keen insight with tact, empathy, and an unfailing sense of fairness. His leadership was not loud or imposing; it was steady, principled, and deeply influential.
Cleavon cared deeply about people. He was attentive to the well-being of those around him, consistently demonstrating kindness and optimism—even in challenging circumstances. His family and friends all remember him as someone who uplifted others, fostered positive relationships, and carried a clear sense of purpose and drive in all that he did. He leaves to carry on his legacy his beloved wife, Teasha, and his precious sons, Jian and Klay, who were the centre of his world. To them, and to his Father, sibling Burnell and cousins Cleavon was a source of love, strength, and unwavering support. His legacy lives on most powerfully through them.
Cleavon will be remembered for his intelligence, generosity of spirit, professionalism, and the quiet confidence with which he navigated life. His influence endures in the memories of those who walked alongside him, learned from him, and were encouraged by his example.
Though his passing leaves a profound sense of loss, we give thanks for a life well lived—one defined by purpose, care for others, and meaningful connection.

The service to honour and remember Cleavon Lloyd will take place on Friday, 23rd January 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Charles R.C. Church, Eastern Main Road, Tunapuna.
