Celebrating the Life of Clyde Franklyn Jemmott a.k.a “Clyde D Outlaw”
In the rhythmic cadence of life, Clyde Franklyn Jemmott, affectionately known as “Clyde D Outlaw,” lived life with great passion, creativity, and undying love. His journey, though cut short, unfolded as a captivating journey of a man whose heart beat in harmony with the music he so ardently loved.
Clyde wasn’t just a DJ/Sound System Specialist, Radio Production Programmer, Event Promoter, and Mentor—he was an artist, a maestro crafting his masterpiece in the realm of sound. For over three decades, his life resonated with the beats and rhythms that defined the music industry. As a DJ and a loved member of the Trinidad and Tobago Radio Network OJO 96.1 WEFM and 107.7 Music For Life, he shared the stage with iconic radio personalities and Soca artists, leaving an unforgettable mark on the airwaves with his commentary which revealed tiny snippets into his unique personality.
But beyond the spotlight, Clyde found his greatest inspiration in the warm embrace of family. To him, family life was his true purpose. His mother, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends filled his days with love and cherished memories. His love for them was boundless.
Besides family and close friends, he was nothing short of a loyal friend and reliable team-player. And for those who knew him closely or tuned in daily will know he lived by his mantra, “always leave everyone better than you found them,”
To celebrate his vibrant life and legacy, we invite you to stand with the family of Clyde Jemmott on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 10 a.m, at Daybreak Assembly on Poinsettia Drive, Coconut Drive, Morvant. Followed by a burial at Belgroves Orange Grove Memorial Gardens, #10 Orange Grove Road, Trincity.
Undoubtedly, Clyde’s spirit will linger in the echoes of his favorite tunes, the beats of shared laughter, and the enduring love he leaves behind. Though he may no longer walk among us, his melody will continue to play on in the hearts of those who were touched by his light.
