Celebrating the Life of Glenn Forde

Pastor Glenn Forde

20 July 1968 – 11 June 2026

Pastor Glenn Forde was a devoted servant of God, visionary leader, author, educator, mentor, husband, father, and community builder whose life was dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of God and transforming lives through faith, leadership, and service.

Born on 20 July 1968, Glenn Forde lived a life marked by purpose, passion, and an unwavering commitment to God and people. In his early years, he distinguished himself as an exceptionally talented footballer. Affectionately known as “Chubb Rock,” a nickname inspired by his solid build, Glenn’s physical stature was surpassed only by his extraordinary talent and skill on the football field. His natural ability, determination, and sportsmanship earned him admiration and respect wherever he played.

Pastor Glenn often spoke with deep gratitude about the profound influence his mother, Beryl Forde, had on his spiritual journey. He frequently credited her unwavering faith and commitment to God as the foundation upon which his own relationship with Christ was built. As a young boy, she faithfully took him to church and exposed him to the life-changing power of the Gospel.

One particular experience remained etched in his memory and became a defining moment in his testimony. During a crusade he attended with his mother, he was singled out by the visiting preacher, who poured a horn of oil over his head in a powerful act of anointing. The oil flowed so abundantly that it seemed to cover him completely, it was a divine encounter and an early indication of God’s hand upon his life. That simple act would later prove to be a prophetic deposit of God’s anointing, setting him apart for the ministry and global impact that would define his life’s work.

Pastor Forde’s journey in ministry began under the tutelage of Apostle Bertril Baird at Faith Revival Ministries, where he faithfully served as a Youth Pastor, who spearheaded international youth conferences and also worked in the office. During this formative season, he cultivated the leadership qualities, biblical foundation, and pastoral heart that would later define his own ministry and influence generations of believers. His service extended beyond youth ministry, as he was also a gifted drummer who faithfully ministered as part of the church’s music ministry. These early experiences in both youth ministry and worship helped shape the well-rounded leader he would become, laying the foundation for a lifetime of service to God and His people.

On 25 January 1998, he married the love of his life, Octavia Fletcher, beginning a partnership built upon faith, love, and mutual devotion. Together they built a strong Christian home and were blessed with a daughter, Adara Forde, who remained one of his greatest joys and proudest accomplishments.

He and his wife started Reformation Life Centre in February 2000, Pastor Forde established a ministry committed to preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, strengthening families, and equipping individuals to fulfil God’s purpose for their lives. Through his dynamic teaching, compassionate leadership, and unwavering faith, he inspired countless people to deepen their relationship with Christ and walk confidently in their God-given destiny.

One of Pastor Glenn Forde’s most enduring contributions was the culture of love, unity, and genuine fellowship that he established within Reformation Life Centre. He believed that the Church was more than a place of worship—it was a family. Through his leadership, he cultivated a strong sense of community and togetherness, encouraging members to support, uplift, and care for one another in every season of life.

At the heart of this vision was the “I Care Dimension”, a principle that became a defining characteristic of Reformation Life Centre. Pastor Forde taught that authentic Christianity is demonstrated not only through faith and worship, but through tangible expressions of love, compassion, and concern for others. He challenged members to look beyond themselves, to be attentive to the needs of their brothers and sisters, and to create an environment where every person felt valued, supported, and embraced.

This commitment to genuine care and meaningful relationships transformed the church into a close-knit community where people found not only spiritual guidance but also friendship, encouragement, and a true sense of belonging. The culture of unity and compassion that Pastor Forde nurtured remains one of the hallmarks of his ministry and a lasting testament to the values he lived and preached.

Known for his warmth, humour, humility, wisdom, and genuine love for people, Pastor Forde dedicated his life to serving others. Whether ministering from the pulpit, mentoring young leaders, encouraging families, or supporting those in need, he consistently demonstrated the heart of a true servant leader.

Pastor Glenn Forde was known for continually challenging believers to pursue a deeper and more intimate relationship with God. He often reminded the congregation that spiritual growth was never meant to be stagnant, but rather a continual journey from one dimension of faith, maturity, and revelation to another. His messages consistently encouraged believers to rise above complacency and press toward higher levels of commitment, obedience, and spiritual excellence.

He passionately taught that serving God deserved nothing less than one’s very best. Whether in prayer, praise and worship, ministry, or daily Christian living, Pastor Forde challenged believers to approach God with wholehearted devotion and sincerity. He emphasized the importance of fervent prayer, likewise, he viewed praise and worship as powerful expressions of love, gratitude, and reverence that should be offered with enthusiasm, authenticity, and excellence. His constant call to “go higher” became a hallmark of his ministry and remains one of the enduring lessons he imparted to those privileged to sit under his leadership.

His ministry influence extended far beyond the shores of Trinidad and Tobago. Pastor Forde ministered internationally in the United States of America, St. Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, The Bahamas, the Philippines, England, Canada and Kenya, among other nations. Through preaching, teaching, leadership development, and missionary outreach, he touched lives across continents, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on individuals, churches, and communities around the world.

A gifted teacher and communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Forde was also the author of the book “Understanding the God-Ordained Call to Destiny,” a work that reflected his passion for helping believers recognize, embrace, and pursue God’s divine purpose for their lives.

On 11 June 2026, Pastor Glenn Forde entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of faith, leadership, vision, and service. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, faithful pastor, accomplished author, gifted teacher, respected mentor, community builder, and international ambassador of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Though his earthly journey has ended, his influence continues through the lives he transformed, the ministry he built, the family he cherished, the members he inspired, the leaders he mentored, and the countless souls he pointed toward Christ.

Pastor Glenn Forde’s life stands as a testimony to the power of faith, the importance of purpose, and the enduring impact of a life wholly surrendered to God.

It is rare to find a friendship that spans over four decades, but that was the gift of knowing Glenn Forde. Our story began in July 1984, on his birthday, at Daniel’s Vacation Lessons. In a moment that set the tone for years of laughter to come, I turned around, wished him a happy birthday, and boldly remarked, “Yuh have a unibrow!” Glenn just laughed.

That first conversation sparked a connection that reshaped my family’s life. As we talked about where we lived and finding a new church after moving to St. Augustine, Glenn warmly invited us to Faith Revival Ministries, back when it was upstairs the Workers’ Bank. Because of that simple, welcoming invitation, my mother and I found a spiritual home, and Glenn and I found a lifelong bond.

Over the years, our friendship grew into something truly special. Bound by a shared love for sports, our adult years were filled with endless banter during the NBA Finals. We served together, judging youth ministry talent shows, and it was a joy to watch him step into his calling as a youth pastor. Later, when he founded Resurrection Life Centre (RLC), I was privileged to stand by him in those early days. Though time and seasons changed, our excellent friendship remained a constant.

Glenn wasn’t just my friend; he was family. Together, we shared the joy of having two beautiful goddaughters, a testament to the trust and friendship we had with their parents.

I thank God for the gift of his life and his unwavering friendship. My deepest prayers and love go out to Michelle, Adara, Cora, Esmond, and the entire Forde family. May God continue to keep and sustain you. To the RLC family, may you find profound comfort during this difficult season.

Rest eternally in peace, Pastor Glenn Forde. You ran your race beautifully.

There is no telling where his impact will ever end. It lives on in many including me and my family. God used him to push me into Bible School. That was 3 years ago. Im now finished! That’s not all. Not only did through his and his wife’s ministry I received prophecy concerning the birth of my offspring, but he was able to be here in Guyana to dedicate my son. My wife and I are eternally grateful for his life. Sincere condolences to his wife and entire family. Rise in Glory!

My heart feels robbed of truly knowing the baby, the boy, the man he grew into. The man he became. The champion for Christ. I regret not knowing more. I am proud to say, our lives and our history spans beyond his 57 years. Condolences and prayers to his wife, daughter, brother, sister and all the other family member. My God give you quick comfort and unforgotten memories. Rest in eternal peace Glenn!
