Celebrating the Life of Hammond Jagai

A dedicated and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend who touched the lives of many. Hammond was deeply respected for his knowledge and expertise in the telecommunications field where he had a career which spanned 40 years and made him friends in all four corners of our Twin-Island Republic. Outside of his career he dedicated his life to improving the lives of others through the ALTA and continued to be a committed member of AA for some 45 years. With a warm grin, and humble disposition Hammond was a mentor to countless. He believed in the importance of family, friendship and the 12 steps fellowship. He was a true steward of the Big Book and exemplified commitment to those who chose to repose trust and confidence in him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, patience, and dedication that will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we mourn the loss of this remarkable individual, let us celebrate Hammond’s life and the positive influence he had on others. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will live on through the many individuals he touched and whose lives he transformed deliberately without fanfare.

The Tribute Service for Mr. Hammond Jagai will take place on Saturday 13th January 2024 at 1:30PM, Belgroves Funeral Home, Belgroves Prayer Room, #2-6 Belgroves Lane, Coffee Street, San Fernando. Cremation to follow.
