Celebrating the Life of
Jean Bartholomew

Celebrating a life well-lived and a legacy that echoes through time, we fondly remember Jean Bartholomew, formerly of Cap-de-Ville, Point Fortin, who peacefully departed this life on December 31, 2023, at the remarkable age of 84.

Jean, the cherished daughter of Irvin and Iris Bartholomew, embraced life with love for family at its core. As the devoted mother of Brian Dumervil, her nurturing spirit extended to a vast family network.

In her role as a sister, Jean shared deep bonds with Barbara Voisin (dec.), Shirley Ottley, Thora Celestine, Earle (Joe) Bartholomew, Violet Richards, Marva Sinclair, Reynold Bartholomew, Norbert Bartholomew (dec.), Annette Bartholomew-Diaz, and Bernadette Bartholomew. Her love radiated to nieces and nephews, including Daphne Walker, Ann Marie Samuel, Cheryl McLarty, Kathyann Flanders, Robert Richards, Aretha Sinclair, Dorchelle Bartholomew, Lou Bartholomew, Kinda Bartholomew, Ron Bartholomew, and many others.

Jean’s familial ties extended to being a sister-in-law to Marion Bartholomew, a niece of Ruthven (Santo) Pascall, and a great aunt to Nathan and many others. She leaves behind a legacy interwoven with the Bartholomew, Bridgewaters, Juba, Tracey, and Celestine families.

Join us in celebrating the life of Jean Bartholomew at the tribute service on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Point Fortin Open Bible Cathedral. May her love for family, warm spirit, and enduring legacy be honored and cherished.
