Celebrating the Life of Patricia Modeste
Patricia “Pat” Modeste, born April 10th, 1957, lived her life to the fullest and went on to meet the Lord on December 5th, 2025, at the age of 68.

Pat spent her childhood, teenage, and young adult years in Tacarigua with her family. Her early career was as a pre-school teacher before transitioning to the world of football. Working directly alongside the now Dr. Austin Jack Warner for over forty years, Pat held many roles. She was his right hand, keeping things in check and managing from the sidelines as they journeyed from the first CONCACAF office on Warner Street, Port of Spain, to FIFA’s Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
Pat’s life can be categorized in two phases: her life before Christ and her life after Christ. Upon being baptized and starting her service to God as a member of the Reformation Life Center family, she undertook her spiritual walk with the same drive and dedication she showed in every other area of her life. Even as a young believer, Pat maintained her old friendships without compromising her walk with Christ. She was often on the phone inviting friends and loved ones to church as she would to a football game, a lime, or a carnival fete. Pat believed in leaving no one behind. In the football days, when there was a match, she would pack the entire office like sardines into a few vehicles to ensure everyone got to the venue on time; from Cleaner to Office Manager, no staff was left behind. In her later years, regardless of how early her day needed to start, she would email daily prayers and scripture readings to friends and loved ones across the globe, encouraging some in their walk with God and nudging others to get to know God. Pat believed in leaving no soul behind. She would say, “If Lawrence could change, anybody could change.”
Whether you knew Pat before Christ or after, she was hardworking, dependable, loyal, dedicated, kind, and boundlessly generous.
Those close to Pat know that you didn’t truly know her until you got an “Aunty Pat buff” or she accidentally hung up the phone while you were still talking. The staff at CONCACAF affectionately nicknamed her “talk to click” for the speed at which she would hang up after speaking.
Patricia “Pat” Modeste—Child of God, Fashionista, Globetrotter, Sister, Mother, Friend, Aunt, and Confidant; a life worth living, a life worth celebrating. Well done!
Tribute Service: Friday 12th December 2025 at 10:00am, Reformation Life Centre, #1 Ramlal Trace Ext and Uriah Butler Highway Charlieville.

Pat was my friend for over 60 years. We grew up walking distance from each other and shared all the joys of childhood, then carried that bond into adulthood – playing mas, partying, liming and going to sporting events
She was beautiful inside and out, kind, loyal and full of life. As queen of the UpStarts Football Club and a longtime supporter of the Eddie Hart Football League her passion for football was unmatched
It was because of her goodness and the love she showed so naturally that I asked her to be my daughter’s godmother.
I will always cherish the friendship we shared and the remarkable woman she was
I will miss the daily motivational posts.
Rest well my friend
Until………..

To the Modeste family, please accept my deepest condolences. It is unfair that death should have the power to take away the ones we love, the Bible calls it “an enemy” 1Cor 15:26)soon however our creator promises to “swallow up death forever.” ( Isaiah 25:8) We look forward to his future promise at Revelation 21:4 which says, “ And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I hope this message brought you some comfort.
