RICARDO DIAZ
Some people leave a mark through grand gestures. Ricardo left his through the way he lived every day.
A man of integrity, unwavering values, generous and quiet strength, Ricardo believed in doing what was right and encouraging others to be their best. He inspired those around him to pursue their dreams, continue learning, and never stop growing.
But above all else, Ricardo loved his family.
Family was his greatest joy, his greatest pride, and the centre of his world. He was the glue that held many pieces together; steady, dependable, and always present. His love was not loud, but it was constant, felt in the countless ways he cared for those closest to him.
Affectionately known as “Beh Beh Boy,” Ricardo found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. On a quiet Sunday afternoon, his favourite music playing in the background, a glass of Moscato or Port Wine nearby, and of course, his familiar request for “6 cups” or “8 cups”; which everyone knew meant his beloved Folgers coffee, medium roast.
Though reserved by nature, Ricardo had a playful spirit. He rarely met someone without eventually giving them a nickname, and those small moments of humour often became cherished family memories.
Affectionately known as “Beh Beh Boy”, listening to Coldplay, Sarah Brightman, Enya, Phil Collins, or Whitney Houston, Ricardo appreciated the beauty of music, faith, family, and the simple moments that make a life meaningful.
Today, we remember a man whose character shaped every room he entered, whose values guided every step he took, and whose love continues to live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
Ricardo’s story is one of integrity, devotion, laughter, and love.
And that story will never be forgotten.
