Sean Brian Francis

In Loving Memory of Sean Brian Francis

Sean Brian Francis, devoted husband, father, and faithful servant of God, passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 64.

Sean was a kind and gentle man who walked with grace and wisdom, and lived with unwavering integrity. His steadfast faith in God was the foundation of his life, and he often reminded others that “What God wants for us, is best for us.”

He cherished his family with a deep and enduring love, shown through his actions and the choices he made. Spending meaningful time and creating lasting memories with Bernie—the love of his life— their children Frederique, Joshua, Zachary, Sean Jnr., and Amanda-Grace, along with his son-in-love Judah, his precious granddaughter Nora, and his parents Edward and Bernice and his sisters Sharon and Sheryl-Ann, were always his highest priority.

From an early age, Sean dedicated his life to serving others, faithfully living out his Christian values in every sphere—at home, at work, and within his church community. His quiet strength and humble leadership touched countless lives.

A service to celebrate the life of Sean Francis will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Curepe Pentecostal Empowerment Ministries International, 27 McDonnell Street, Curepe.

A private interment will follow at Belgroves Funeral Home, 10 Orange Grove Road, Trincity.

I’m grateful to have grown up with Sean Francis, who was like an older brother to me 🤝. We shared many fond memories, from playing marbles 🎲 to spending time together at church ✝️. His dedication to serving God and others was truly inspiring, and I have no doubt that he fulfilled his purpose on earth 🌎. May his soul continue to rest in peace 💫.

    Job 1:20-22 CSB
Then Job stood up, tore his robe, and shaved his head. He fell to the ground and worshiped, [21] saying: Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will leave this life. The LORD gives, and the LORD takes away. Blessed be the name of the LORD. [22] Throughout all this Job did not sin or blame God for anything.

Dearest Bernie and Family, Our hearts are heavy for the temporal pain and loss you will sustain in the here and now. I pray that the eternal hope promised in Jesus will carry you day by day until you reunite with your beloved Sean. We are sorry we did not have the opportunity to meet properly this side of heaven, but trust God’s timing not to mention we have eternity to get to know each other. We do not see the eternal picture. Grieve well in the Lord. ❤️

I’ve met very few people who have left an indelible mark on my mind; continously striving to be a better husband, a better father and a better friend. A man whose humanity was only exceeded by his humility.
Rest well Pastor Sean and may God continue to grant grace and comfort to your family. You will be missed

    Love (charity) defines you….

    1 Corinthians Chapter 13

    4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 ESV — For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

We know than Sean is by His Lord and Saviour’s side. May God continue to bless and keep his family and loved ones during their time of grief.

    To the family of Sean,
I am writing to extend my condolences and to share some comforting scripture from the Bible. We have the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again , right here on the earth. Acts 24:15 says” There is going to be a resurrection.” This means that you have the hope of seeing Sean alive again. Resurrections were performed in the past and they will take place again in the near future (John 5: 28,29). You can find more information about the resurrection at jw.org.
