Burial FAQs

Burial is another method of final disposition in which your loved one is placed into the ground. 

Yes and no. Most cemeteries (Church and Public) do not allow you to purchase a cemetery plot if space is limited within that municipality in which the plot can be reused every 7 years. The cost of plots varies based on location. The Belgroves Funeral Home and Crematorium do offer you a private cemetery plot at ourOrange Grove Memorial Gardens. This modern-day, high-tech green cemetery is designed with a series of underground chambers (crypts), each having a capacity of 4 encryptments. Orange Grove Memorial Gardens is surrounded by opulent, tropical plants, the Gardens offer a safe and secure resting place for your loved one. 

Embalming is not required by law in Trinidad and Tobago. Nevertheless, in cases of a deceased person’s body leaving or arriving at a country, embalming is required. Embalming is required in Orange Grove Memorial Gardens.
