It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Clyde Lewis, a life beautifully lived and a soul deeply cherished.

Clyde was the beloved son of William Stowe (Deceased) and Christiana Louis (Deceased), devoted husband of Isley Thomas-Lewis (Deceased), and a guiding light to his children Leslie, Roosevelt, and Kimberly. He was the cherished grandfather of Emmanuel, Stephan, Cilicia, Shawnel, Gian, Simeon (Deceased), Gjosh, Shanise, Cianna, Shondel, and Shawnie, and proud great-grandfather to Zuri.

Clyde was the loving brother of Theodore Warrick and Vanilla Francis (Deceased), treasured uncle to many, including Ulric (Deceased), Darran, Rander, Karen, Kurt, Kim, Kelvin (Deceased), and Acton, and dear cousin to Josephine, George, Vivian, Matthew, Ann Marie, Maria, Patricia, and Roseanna.

He was a cherished friend to Mother Evandra, Shepherd Sam, Benjamin Doyle (Prover), Archpriest Courtney, Reverend Wayne, and countless others, a treasured relative of The Pompeys of St. Vincent, and a spiritual son of Mother Sylvia (Deceased). Clyde also shared an unbreakable bond as a spiritual brother to the members of Little Bethany Spiritual Baptist Church.

A Tribute Service in honor of Clyde’s remarkable life will be held on Tuesday, 26th November 2024, at 11:00 AM at Belgroves Funeral Home, #11 Borde Street, Port-of-Spain. Cremation will follow at a later date.

The family of Clyde Lewis expresses heartfelt gratitude for your kind words, support, and presence during this time of remembrance. May his soul find eternal rest, and may we forever carry his memory in our hearts.

To the family of Clyde Lewis,
I would like to express my condolences at this time and share some comforting verses from the Bible. We have the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again in the future resurrections that will take place on earth (Acts 24:15, John 5: 28,29, Psalm 37:29). Our Creator hates death and longs to bring back to life or resurrect faithful persons. Having this hope of seeing Clyde again can provide some peace and comfort right now. You can find more information about the resurrection at jw.org.
