We gather to honor and celebrate the life of Daniel Seesahai, a cherished family member, devout churchgoer, and friend to many, whose journey on this earth spanned from February 11, 1935, to September 10, 2023.
Daniel was born to the late Ramjit and Justina Seesahai and grew up in a large, loving family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sampatie Seesahai, and his siblings Charles, Ralph, Ivan, and Flora. He leaves behind his loving sons, Anthony (Tony) and Andrew, as well as his siblings Peter, Cynthia, and Beverly, who will miss him dearly.
Daniel was a dedicated member of the Curepe Presbyterian Church and its choir, where he sang with passion and devotion. His commitment to his faith and community was unwavering.
He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, whose lives he touched with his kindness and wisdom.
Daniel’s friends, too numerous to list, knew him as a compassionate and loyal companion. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and generous heart.
A service to commemorate Daniel’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Curepe Presbyterian Church on Lyndon Street. The viewing of the body will take place from 1:00 pm to 1:20 pm, followed by the service at 1:30 pm.
