It has been a great pleasure and blessing for me my family and community to have walked and work alongside my father Dr. Leader Sterlin. His selfless contribution to humanity speaks volumes of a gaint amongst men.

The prayer our father who art in heaven has a symbolic meaning to it now more than ever.
Jesus taught the disciples to pray just as Leader Sterlin taught us.
As Jesus ascended into heaven,he assured his disciples that he would always be with them. We can be rest assured that Leader Sterlin will always be with us.

“ The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”( Emerson)
A life well lived has impact for generations to come. Dr Sterling Belgrove walked in humility and excellence. As one of my lecturers during my MBA program, he left a lasting impact on me and I am sure on many of my colleagues. His approach was enlightening as he challenged our thought processes to go beyond the conventional. Each lecture was an adventure in wisdom and discovery. May God grant peace to his Family and Friends at this challenging time and may you find comfort in knowing that his was a life well lived. Thanks be to God for his life and may his soul rest in God’s Eternal Peace.

My heart was broken and crying when I knew Dr. Leader Sterling Belgrove has left the earthly realm. It is a great loss not only to the Trinidad and Tobago, Carribbean, but also to the world. He was truly a great world leader. I first met Dr. Sterling Belgrove in 1995. I was deeply impressed by his vision and actions to enrich the people and country of Trinidad and Tobago through diplomacy. He advised the Government of Trinidad and Tobago to bring in investments and technology from my country TAIWAN. He was the best Ambassador to bridge our two countries. His legacy will be always remembered in the hearts of our people. Please accept the heartfelt condolences from all people of TAIWAN.

Our deepest condolences to Mother Marcia Belgrove and her entire family, the children of Our Lady of the Roses and all who knew and loved Dr. Sterling Belgrove. From our very first meeting during my teenage years, I knew Leader Sterling was a very special person. We both shared a love for music, so naturally it was the sound of his kalimba at the back of a prayer service one day that drew me toward him. Mother Marcia and Leader Sterling were ever present to offer spiritual support and encouragement to my family during my childhood years and beyond. They would later become my spiritual parents. May Ldr. Sterling’s example of steadfast faith in God, agape love, and community service continue to serve as an inspiration to all. May he rest in peace and rise in glory to meet God face to face. Amen. -Sr. Anthea & family

This is a surrealistic moment for me! I extend my deepest condolences to you, Mrs. Belgrove and your family. May the peace and grace of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. To know Dr. Sterling Belgove was to know an ingenious and sage being whose very existence was a spark of light, enlightening everyone whom he encountered in a myriad of unimaginable ways. The last time I saw you, I hugged you spontaneously. You responded “Hey, I got a hug!” It is only now, I understand that this uncanny moment was a farewell bid expressed in the physical realm. The wisdom of God is truly a mystery! I feel honoured to have known you. You have empowered me not just to do a job, but to become a beacon of light and hope. You were an extraordinary teacher. I am sorry that I didn’t say thank you each time we met. However, I rest assured that my immense enthusiasm to be a part of your vision spoke volumes as you observed. I will miss you dearly. Thank you!!! May your soul return to God and may you rest peacefully until the day of resurrection.
Love, Reneea Samuel ( LBAFI Tutor)
