I fondly remember our early days at Amoco Galeota Point. Ed started about a year before me. He was driven and ambitions and mainly self made. Conditions were often challenging but we were all like a family. Ed was a really dedicated family man. His children were his life. He was also always willing to give advice and help out anyone. We connected briefly again during his stint in Houston. It was shocking to learn of his passing. May the Peace of God be with his family at this time.

So sorry to learn of the untimely passing of Ed Bissoon. I have many fond memories of Ed from the early days (what we used to call garapat days) at Galeota Point to the time he was assigned in Houston. I remember his positive disposition, always smiling, willing to share his knowledge or help anyone in need. Within days of reconnecting with him in Houston he came over to help me with some work at my house. Ed was a dedicated family man; his family was his life. I fondly remember his old (I think) Hillman car which he drove very slowly and everyone passed him on the road. Our families had many good times. May God continue to bless them.

Pat and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Jocyelyn and the rest of the family on the untimely passing of your dear husband and devoted father, and cherished grandfather.

Ed, was a well-respected figure in the Supply Chain Management Department at BP, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and transformation. His impact was profound: he played a pivotal role in the transformation of the department from a focus on tactical contracting to the more progressive strategic approach to Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Whether in Trinidad or during his foreign assignment in Houston, Ed’s influence was felt far and wide. Ed was an excellent mentor and friend to me during my early days in the PSCM department and was always willing to share his extensive knowledge and guidance in all aspects of the work.

What truly impressed me was Ed’s unwavering dedication to his family. He openly shared and was rightfully proud of their remarkable achievements, despite the challenges that were faced along the way. Through it all, he maintained a consistently positive outlook!

Farewell Ed. May you find eternal peace with the Almighty.

Mia and I extend our deepest sympathy to Joycelyn and the family. Donald has accurately summed up what a consummate professional Ed was.
My favourite memory was at the cricket sharing a Carib or two with Ed and watching Mr. Lara.
    Rest in peace my friend.
