We announce with heartfelt sorrow the peaceful passing of Mr. Junior Laidlow on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Predeceased by his parents, Cynthia and Donald Alexander Laidlow, and siblings Hilroy and Dolores Laidlow, Junior’s legacy of love endures through his family and the memories shared with friends.

He is mourned by his siblings Mc Donald Laidlow (USA), Victor Laidlow, Allan Laidlow (USA), and Patricia Vandeyar (UK). Junior was a beloved uncle to nephews Sekou, Mark, Dwight, Adrian, Clarence, Courtney, Lindell, and Crispin, and nieces Paige, Michele, Allanna, and Lisa.

His lifelong friend Sandra Smith, along with countless others touched by his kindness, will miss his warm presence.

Junior’s life exemplified the strength of community bonds and the enduring power of kindness. He will be profoundly missed, and his influence will forever resonate in the lives he touched.

The tribute service for the late Junior Laidlow took place on Wednesday 11th October 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Belgrove’s Prayer Room at 2-6 Belgrove Lane, Coffee Street, San Fernando followed by a cremation at 12:00pm at Belgrove’s Crematorium, at same.

Junior’s life demonstrated the profound impact of kindness and connection. He will be deeply missed, and his enduring influence will continue to resonate with all who knew him.
