Alicia Ramkaran is a dedicated professional who has been an integral part of Belgroves Funeral Home for the past 18 years. Throughout her tenure, Alicia has continually enhanced her product knowledge and developed strong leadership traits. Her natural ability to connect with people and provide compassionate assistance has been instrumental in effectively helping clients during their time of need.

Having worked at various Belgrove branches in Trinidad and Tobago, Alicia has gained extensive experience and a deep understanding of the funeral service industry. Currently based at the Chaguanas branch, Alicia’s commitment and diligent work ethic have propelled her career progression within the company. Starting as a Funeral Planner I, she then advanced to become a Senior Memorial Co-Ordinator and currently holds the position of Team Lead/Supervisor.

Alicia acknowledges that pursuing education in this line of work can be challenging due to the demands of the job. However, with the support of her family and the company, she has successfully completed courses in Event Planning, Selling and Sales Management, Public Relations, Business Management, and Social Work. Recently, Alicia achieved a significant milestone by obtaining her Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Social Work, showcasing her dedication to personal and professional growth.

Working in the funeral service industry is not without its challenges, but Alicia finds it rewarding because she can make a positive difference in people’s lives every day. She takes pride in living out Belgroves’ mission, which emphasizes innovation and setting standards for the funeral industry, all while prioritizing exceptional customer service.
