My Unique Funeral Experience with Belgroves

I have seen many funerals from my family and friends, but the funeral for my Goddaughter, the funeral for my Goddaughter, Shaunice Dania Bruce, was outstanding, and the service Belgroves delivered was excellent.  You guys keep getting better and better. This was the most unique funeral arrangement experience I have ever witnessed that happened in Tobago on 24th February 2026.  Dania looked so good and youthful. The arrangements and the way we were treated during the planning and execution of the entire funeral, we can say Dania got a funeral fit for a queen.  In addition, everything was so on time, the slides were so beautiful, and together they all created such a beautiful ambience.  

Dania has been my loving Goddaughter for 33 years until her passing, and I cannot imagine such a wonderful mother, Phyllis Bruce, who brought such a beautiful and loving child into this world. It brings tears to my eyes to know that Dania’s children were so loved and well cared for, and they couldn’t ask for a better mother. My dear Dania was always such a wonderful Goddaughter.  May perpetual light shine upon her and may the angels take her into paradise 🙏.  

Something about Belgroves and their employees doing what they do best that makes us feel so satisfied. Every time we go to a funeral, everything is done so well and structured, leaving us with a great experience.

She was not only professional, but incredibly gentle and understanding of the emotional weight my family and I were carrying.

Podicia carefully walked us through every step of the process, ensuring that we fully understood what needed to be done. She provided clear, step-by-step guidance, answered every question with patience, and handled every detail with excellence. Because of her organization and attentiveness, my father’s service and all necessary arrangements were executed seamlessly.

What could have easily been a stressful and confusing transition was instead handled with dignity, efficiency, and heartfelt care. Through her dedication, my family and I were able to lay my father to rest within 32 hours—an incredible testament to her commitment and professionalism.

Heartfelt appreciation to the team at Belgrove’s funeral home at Trincity. Belgrove’s has helped us tremendously during the recent passing of our mom. We are thankful that we were able to purchase a legacy funeral plan for mom several years ago. This brought financial ease on the actual passing of our mom.
The Belgrove’s team made the entire process from pick up to burial a more bearable process. Their services were timely, and the staff were compassionate, patient and kind.

In particular, we chose to host a family and friends viewing and wake at Belgroves which relieved us of the usual logistics, making it stress-free and more comfortable as your staff included all the necessary event planning for snacks, beverages, seating, audio-visual and constant on-hand presence.

Between January and July 2022, I had the pleasure of working with Ms Joezeth Best -morgan in the establishment of a permanent memorial for my late mother Ursula Babsie Marie Crescence Bleasdell (and her late godmother Nen Roe, for whom she originally bought the grave) in the Santa Rosa catholic cemetery in Arima. It was truly a shared effort in designing and building a fitting and beautiful permanent tribute to a life well lived…we Also designed and erected smaller monuments at word of life catholic Charismatic community which she founded and at our Lady and the holy Spirit catholic church on Comuto road on land she donated to the archdiocese of Port of Spain in 1988 Kindly consider using bellgroves cremation and funeral and memorial services for the services for your dearly departed loved ones.
