You did check up on me at my lowest. I hate when good people are gone. Well done, my Lord’s good and humble servant. Now who will keep Corey in check?

Thank you for your guidance, leadership and compassion Donna. Here is a picture of Donna at the graduation ceremony for a community-base project in Santa Cruz called Empowering Minds in 2017. She was part of the executive committee that put the program together. I will always remember her as efficient, pragmatic and always kind. Condolence to family, friends and well wishers. Your memory will always be in our hearts and minds.

Farewell, to you I had the pleasure of working with her for 5 years when she was the Principal of Coryal Secondary. Your were a beacon of light in the world of work, a mentor of the highest caliber, and a friend whose absence will be deeply felt. Your legacy will live on, not just in the success of education but in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Donna (my namesake) you were the epitome of resilience, fortitude and perseverance channelled into many aspects of a life fully lived and I daresay fully explored with an ebullient and effervescent personality. I had the fortune of some endearingly happy experiences beginning with Los de UWI ( now Paranderos de UWI), your first birth, meeting up at so many education workshops, walking with you upon your Principal appointment and sharing the successes and challenges of our commitment to improving the lives of so many at risk students. Moreover there was reciprocity as we both recognised each other’s strengths which we thrived on to survive the harsh realities of administration. Thanks for the advice and every word of encouragement and thanks for just being you, as you were my ‘neighbour’ for 10 years and just a phone call away. To Patrick and your daughter, my last conversation with Donna was consumed with her outpouring of affection for her granddaughter which was unreservedly her pride and joy. May you seek comfort in God’s boundless mercy as the memories can certainly soothe in her absence. DM, you will be missed as your life has touched so many during your earthly journey. Sleep in eternal peace my dear.

Donna was light, love ❤️ and laughter! She lived a full life and had the respect of many. I especially remember her passion for our Caribbean “oneness’ because she called CAPSS to task.if we forget. I am sure she is directing the plans for a grand reunion party on the other side. Cheers to a life well-lived. 💕. Sleep on, dear Donna. From Salome and your friends on 🇧🇿 Belize.
